Ans Hague Convention, which means they use the apostille for legalizing documents If you are using Indian Documents in countries which are not in Hague ,use the word attestation for legalizing documents.Both are the same in aim.If you are using your Indian documents in Australia,Italy,UK or any other country in Hague convention treaty nations your documents and certificates need to apostille from India. If they are documents from Australia that you will bring back with you to India, then you will need to apostille them in Australia. Each country has its own apostille authorities.

Qus : What are the procedures in attestation of educational certificates?
The latest procedure to Attest/authenticate your original educational Qualification Certificate has to be initially done by the Regional Authentication Centre (RAC's) under the State Government. This is a very important step. Without this you can't proceed for the further attestation formalities for UAE. These Procedures are slightly differs from State by State.
Once the RAC (HRD) attestation is complete, the certificates have to be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, India. MEA will accept the Documents only after RAC (HRD) Attestation.
After the above procedures the document/certificate has to be attested from the Embassy/ Consulate in India. The Embassy / Consulate will accept the Documents only after MEA/Home Ministry Attestation.
The Attestation Process will be completed only after attesting the document/certificate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE.
